I was doing really well with getting into shape this summer. Lifting weights (using this app for guidance. LOVE.) and doing the Couch to 5k (this app is my favorite) was allowing me to see the body changes and changes in my fitness level that I'd been looking for. I'd even taken "before" photos and was waiting for 8 weeks to pass so that I could take my "afters."
|Not a "before." Not a chance in h-e-l-l that I would post those now!|

spinach, baked chicken, candied walnuts, strawberries, feta, and poppyseed dress.
Party in my mouth.
The whole point is that I was doing well and seeing changes and theeeeeeeeeeeen baBAM!
|Oh, hey, little baby.|
Just like that I was knocked up and feeling like 'ish. I did continue to run for a little while but almost exactly at the 8weeks ALL DAY LONG morning sickness hit me like a truck. I'll do a larger post on this but "morning" sickness lasted all day every day until 16w and not until now (21w) am I actually feeling good all day long. Thus I've gained an inordinate amount of weight/lost all of my fitness/can't do a pushup anymore...I'm starting to go to the gym again but now it's just a matter of managing fallout until after Baby #2 is here (Note: all totally worth it for my baby! Just keeping it real like I do.)
Husband graduated his course, had a few smaller flying courses, and then took a new job commanding a company here on post.
As usual I have no idea what his job actually is. I just make/bring him lunch and call him every day at approximately 4:53pm to see when he is coming home. Such a good wife I am. Instead of moving to Georgia like we thought we will be here
on the surface of the sun in Alabama for 18 more months.
Rowan is 2 now! Wtf. When did that happen!?!? She's pretty hilarious mostly, obstinate Screamy McScreamerson a small portion of the time, and my little buddy always.

I honestly don't know how I was even picking her up.
As for me? Besides the body image that I always obsess over I'm doing pretty good. My sweet husband is so helpful in all my endeavors. Most recently he agreed to get rid of the one nice/adult/kid free space in our house (our beautiful dining room) to make a play room for my sanity. I also started a book club with some friends and we haven't met in a few months (thanks to nausea and Husband's ever-changing schedule) but I'm really excited about starting back up this month. Other than that it's normal day to day things and starting to get ready to have a new baby in the house.
Thank ya'll for sticking around for me:-)
